I refuse to believe I am going gray!

Yesterday I was sitting across from my 14 year male client when he says "Did you get highlights in your hair?" Here is my very mature response, "No. That's natural." While in my head I was thinking, "thanks for pointing out my gray hair!" And what 14 year old male notices such things anyway?! :)

I hear ya. A few weeks ago, I had a 6 1/2 year old tell me (after I told her that I was older than a college student) and I quote, "oh, well, you look kind of like, you know, a high schooler." Ok. Then this Tuesday when I was at my volunteer job the new intern (who really is the nicest) wanted to know if I was a college student, what my major was, and whether or not I like to shop at Forever 21. Ha! Um, no.

So---Saturday, my niece was looking at my hair, and said"oh Erika, look at your gray hair." So she began to pull them out, and I said don't, there's too many. Her reply was"Well, do you want to go to school looking like an old lady?"

My darling Teresa, not to worry, when I started going gray people would stop me and ask where I got my hair done. I too told them it was natural and they would comment how fortunate I was. So, I have never colored my hair as I always said the color was my legacy from my dad. How nice that Grandpa has also sent that legacy to you!
I love you~~~
