Continued Research

Disclaimer: Read post entitled "Twitching" before reading this post.

Upon further research of eye twitching, I found several "remedies." Emily and I were laughing over some of them:
*Myectomy:a surgical procedure in which some or all of the muscles and nerves of the eyelids are removed
*Anti-epileptic drugs or other oral medications
*Botox
*Prescription Tranquilizers & Anti- Psychotics
*hot baths
*cold compresses
*warm compresses
*eye drops
*flushing eyes with water

And best of all: one of the preventative measures:"Because stress and/or anxiety often causes eye twitch, one of the best preventative measures is to keep stress levels down." Well, duh!

Thanks, I have I twitches also. I thought it was from dry eyes but am sure stress has more to do with it.

Maybe insurance would cover botox if it's for treatment of a medical condition! Then you could have that Hollywood expressionless, frozen look. What do you think?
