I thought that Pastor Daniel was really cool. I thought he was fun. But today I found out he's no fun at all! He told me during rehearsal that I'm not allowed to skip down the aisle. I'm not allowed to swing my flowers around. I'm not allowed to walk backwards. He told me if I proceeded to do any of these things he would trip me. I just don't know if I can call him friend anymore. It's a sad state of affairs when your pastor (well, one of your previous pastors) tells you that you can't have any fun!
The day was really fun. I rolled lots of silverware. I cut a lot of cheese (the kind you eat, just in case anyone was going to make any funny comments!) I decorated some tables. Then I even had a couple of hours to relax before the rehearsal. Then I got to goof off at the rehearsal. I know, I should have been serious, listening carefully. But, let's face it, after your sixth wedding as a bridesmaid, you pretty much have it figured out. I tried to behave, I promise!
And I may have drank a Dr. Pepper for lunch.
