Texas is beginning to call my name. Can anyone else here it? I am spending Thursday through Sunday afternoon with Lisa and then Sunday evening through Thursday afternoon with Danell and Ken. Lisa sent me a tentative itinerary for my time with her. It includes things such as watching Gilmore Girls together, eating at Chick-fil-a, a trip to the Dallas Aquarium, a nature walk in Euless, lunch in Grapevine, church, hanging out at the pool, going to the sneak peek of The Proposal, and I think we're going to sleep (although it wasn't in the itinerary!). When I asked Danell what we were doing, she said, "Playing with babies!" This cracked me up because it is so a picture of Danell and Lisa's different personalities! Danell did mention taking the girls to get their 6 month pictures taken, lunch at Chipotle, and walks in the morning.
As excited as I am, I recently discovered that it is supposed to be in the mid-90s the whole time I am there! I have to admit, I would much rather stay in the mid-70s weather that Peoria is having! But I will brave the hot Texas sun for a chance to spend time with friends!
