So, I was just sitting here, minding my own business watching Gilmore Girls with Emily when I see a roach creeping across the floor. I quickly put the computer down and say, "there's a roach." No response from Emily. So I say it again and go to get a shoe (I'm not that afraid of them and don't mind killing them). On the way back, I notice Emily was still just sitting there. She hasn't even looked to see where the roach is. So, I say, "did you hear me say 'roach'?" and she says yes as she continues to watch the TV. Now, I respect her lack of response. But if this had been Danell, after the first "roach" Danell would have been in another zip code before I could even put the computer down. Just an observation.

I got a little creeped out when I just saw the title to your post:) I didn't think they had roaches in Illinois.
This made me laugh REALLY hard. In my defense, I could clearly see that she was taking care of it, and I didn't feel that a response was necessary. Now if she had said the roach was on me, well then that is a different story. Thanks for making me laugh Teresa!

HAHA! I can so see this story of Em!
How funny, I just fumugated my bathroom again this weekend after finding what looked to have been a queen on the wall. . . For the record, that is 6 times I have had my house sprayed or fumugated in the 4 months that I have lived there. I hope your bugs don't linger as the ones at my place seem to do! Michele
Remember Freddy the roach who lived in our windowsill in college? Could be the reason they don't intimidate you now :)
