Hodge Podge

Here is a random list of the current happenings in my life:

I was up late last night playing Settlers with some friends. I won both games that we played. Very exciting since I had never won before! The first game I won in like an hour, which is very rare for a six person game. Even more rare since I won because 3s kept getting rolled (not a high probability number) and I would gain six or seven resource cards each time. The second game I won by a little persuasive negotiating. It was getting late, I had nine points, and several of us were ready to go to bed, so we figured out how I could win and made it happen.

I woke up really tired, but feeling as if I finally kicked my cough (still coughing some but it isn't constant and nagging). Hooray for health!

I got to go to the Peoria Zoo with a client today. Just one of the perks of working with kids. It was one of those great weather days where I just wanted to be outside.

There is a cool breeze blowing in my window and I am SUPER excited that it is supposed to be in the 60s later this week!

I became sister of the year when I told my little sister that she could go with me to meet DJ Tanner this weekend. Full House is Daynah's very favorite show. She owns all the seasons on DVD and watches them all the time. You would think I offered her a million dollars or something!

I got home from work at 5:45 and did not have anywhere I had to be, so I was able to get some things done at home and relax (very rare these days, so always a blessing when it happens).

All in all it was the complete opposite of a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day (I love throwing that quote into conversation as often as I can. For those of you who don't know, it's from my favorite children's book Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day)! What a blessing to have a great Monday!

Great book... and glad to hear that you're getting healthier. Almost time to go down and meet your future husband...
